The end for iViking…:(

Hi all,
I’ve got some bad news for you all: as from this moment on, iViking has been discontinued. There’s only one reason for this and it’s called ‘MyViking‘, an iPhone application with the same purpose but with more features and better coding.
MyViking is developed by Emmerinc, the same guy who brought us ‘BeTV’. I really suggest switching to MyViking since it’s more user-friendly and will receive more updates than iViking ever had.
Get MyViking now at The AppStore and be sure to have an updated iPhone-application all the time.
I would like to thank everybody who used iViking and everyone who has sent an email congratulating me.
iViking will continue to function, untill the API get’s updated by MobileVikings. iViking will be pulled out of the AppStore June 10, 2010.

V1.5 live!

Just received mail from Apple that they’ve accepted the update, so V1.5 is now in the AppStore! Go to updates to download V1.5, or if haven’t done so already, download iViking here.

V1.5 verstuurd: multilangual, faster and nice looking!

Een moment waar sommigen misschien op zaten te wachten (afgeleid van de emails die ik binnenkrijg): ik heb net V1.5 verstuurd voor review.
Deze versie is eindelijk multilingual (NL,FR en EN), is iets sneller dan zijn voorganger en ziet er veel beter uit! Voorts ben ik al bezig met de functie om je geschiedenis te raadplegen, deze hoop ik volgende week klaar te hebben.

V1.2 on it’s way

iViking staat nu al meer dan een weekje in de AppStore en heeft al een mooi aantal downloads gehaald. Ik hoop dat het hoofddoel va deze app, het sneller toegang verschaffen tot de MV-gegevens, bij iedereen gehaald wordt.
Natuurlijk was dit maar een initiële release. In de volgende release, 1.2, zal de belgeschiedenis opgenomen zijn, alsook het laatste nieuws over MobileVikings. Wanneer deze verstuurd is naar de AppStore zal je het hier natuurlijk lezen!
Indien je nog suggesties hebt, laat ze zeker achter in de comments!
Eindelijk IN DE APPSTORE!

Hij is eindelijk toegelaten!
iViking is vanaf nu gratis te vinden in de AppStore. Zoek in iTunes naar iViking of ga naar http://iviking.vincentverbist.be/download om rechtstreeks naar iViking in iTunes te gaan.
Laat de commentaren maar komen!
Status-update

iViking staat nog steeds ‘in review’ bij Apple, al een week nu sinds de app opnieuw verzonden is. Apple heeft het waarschijnlijk razend druk nu met de pas uitgebrachte 3.0 Software alsook de nieuwe iPhone 3Gs.
Ondertussen vinden er kleine wijzigingen plaats aan iViking, ik wacht vooral op suggesties van ‘het grote publiek’ eens iViking in de AppStore staat. Voor de rest kunnen we niets anders dan wachten! Hopelijk snel meer…
